Pet CPR
Sunday, August 22, we will be hosting a Pet CPR class at 5:00PM. Finding your pet not breathing or with his heart not beating can be a terrifying experience, but there are things you can do. Learn how to perform Rescue Breaths, locate the Heart and Pulse, count Compressions, and perform the Heimlich on dogs and cats. Demonstrations will be performed on dog mannequins. We are asking for a $10.00 donation per person which will be donated to the Hillside SPCA in Pottsville. Hillside is a no-kill animal shelter. Every participant will receive a certificate of completion and a $5.00 gift certificate for Pet Supplies Plus.

Our Apostle Window
August 24th is the Feast Day of St. Bartholomew. His pane in our Apostle Window islocated at the top on the side of the Baptismal font. This shield represents the alter-ego from John, it is the fig tree where Phillip found him and Jesus saw him. Nathanielwas martyred by being skinned alive so his other shield is three flaying knives. This window was given for Daniel Fine by his family.
